This past October saw Turnkey Intelligence (TI) sell and execute multiple ‘a-la-carte’ research projects.

On the full service side, the company lined up custom studies with NBC/NASCAR, the Mountain West Conference, and longtime Turnkey client USA Football.  The studies’ topics are varied, ranging from advertising effectiveness to event satisfaction and demographics.

With regard to ‘design plus’ project sales (i.e., surveys written and programmed by Turnkey but executed and analyzed by the client), clubs including the Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers and Tampa Bay Rays placed orders for such projects, as did the World Triathlon Corporation (owners of the Ironman race).

TI’s online research platform, Surveyor, also had a successful month: clients including the Buffalo Sabres, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, the Miami Dolphins, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Nashville Predators all extended their license agreements in October.

“The fact that our sales list now includes an even mix of all of our research products, from our DIY platform to full-service research consultation, is indicative of where the sports and entertainment industry is headed,” said Haynes Hendrickson, President of TI. “Properties now have a varied list of research needs, and it’s critical that we be able to meet those needs on every level.”

On the data side, October brought a cluster of list sales to clients including the Las Vegas 51s, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, and the University of California, Berkeley. TI was also contracted to create multiple customer profiles and custom scoring models for the Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders, and PlayhouseSquare.
