For the second consecutive year, Turnkey Intelligence has executed a national study examining fan satisfaction with the college football game day experience at FBS schools. This year, more than 35 institutions participated in the study by launching a Turnkey-created survey via email to segments of their ticket buyers. In total, more than 40,000 individuals responded to the survey.
Eric Fisher, Staff Writer at SportsBusiness Journal, penned an article summarizing preliminary results from the study in the December 1, 2014 issue of SBJ. Among the study’s findings: though fan satisfaction with the college football game day experience remains low compared to fan satisfaction with “competing sports properties”, things are improving. Also, programs are beginning to recognize the importance of providing a top-flight door-to-door experience for fans.
